Zanib has worked with many of the most renowned magic circle law firms. Her experience spans from ML/AML, Regulatory and Commercial law. Having taken on roles at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Kirkland and Ellis and Withersworldwide. She later expanded her role to that of General Counsel of an investment management firm in which her exposure and influence through all aspects of investment business expended and had vital influence..

She has great experience working with both traditional and digital fund clients and understands the needs of investment managers and operators, working to synergize the relationship between the two in order to provide the most efficient path forward.

 

Zanib graduated from Middlesex University with a LLB honors in Law, and holds a postgraduate of Law from the University of Law.

He has worked with many of the industry’s leading investment managers and prominent financial institutions during that time and has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services sector. Mr. Thomas was a Senior Vice President at the Maples Group in the Cayman Islands where he was a member of the senior management team within the fund’s fiduciary division. Prior to that Mr. Thomas was an Assistant Vice President at Butterfield Fulcrum Group (Cayman) Limited, where he managed the fund of funds group responsible for a team administering over US$15bn in assets under administration. Mr. Thomas worked for Merchant Investors Assurance Company in senior fund accounting positions since 2001.

 

Mr. Thomas graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol, England with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Finance. Mr. Thomas is a chartered accountant and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is an Accredited Director of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Canada. He is also a Registered Professional Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association.
